Advice from George Kay & Associates by Bonnie McNeel
Every year we get calls from clients asking, “When and how much should I water my plants?”  Should I water once, twice, three times a week?  The
truth is that the frequency and amount of watering depends on many factors including, climate, time of year, and the weather.  Often, we encounter
clients who think if a little is good, then a lot is better, and their plants are swimming in a pool of water.  Over watering, just like lack of watering,
can be detrimental to the plant’s health by depriving the plant of nutrients and oxygen. Everyone wants to take care of their new landscape, but
many times you’re just not sure what exactly should be done.  Let us break it down.

Watering Tips:

The good news is that watering is easy.  Seriously, when in question, stick your finger in the soil and see if it’s moist.  If the soil is dry, then so is
your plant.  Good luck!
